Hip Hop Poetry

HIP HOP POETRY
Greetings all. Welcome to our second installment of the Hip Hop Poetry Jam. I hope you all enjoyed last week’s guest Mr. E-40. We have been getting a lot of feedback [some good-most bad] regarding the content of Mr. 40’s poem. Some said it was crude, others thought it was hilarious. Either way I’m pleased that you took time out of your busy lives to actually read something. Today we are going to go in a different more conscious direction than last week’s entry. Not saying that we’ll not be going down that road in the future; just not right now.
Our guest today is Mr. David Banner. A few years ago he was a special guest on the controversial Nas “Untitled” album. On the last song called Middle Finger Mr. Banner dropped more hot shit that a fat man after a chili eating contest. In my opinion he bested Nas on his own damn track. Then again that is my opinion. I’ll let you be the judge!
Enjoy!!!!!

MIDDLE FINGER – DAVID BANNER *2ND Verse [Bonus Track]
I’m grippin the nina
Visions of 911
Visions of three six’s no sevens
This is Bush-o-nomics
George is the modern day Ronald Reagan
I pray to God in the mist of pagans
Niggas I’m just saying.
When do we stop playin
When do we stop pimpin and start sprayin
50 shots for every cop that left Sean Bell’s body layin
But they won’t quite cuz they know that our generation won’t do shit
Nothing nada
But every rappa is a shotta or a don da da
Or a killa
But you ain’t killin nuthin in this piece unless it’s another nigga
Tryin raise boys into superman
An while I’m at it fuck Arthur J. Copperman
They say there justice for blacks but the send just us to Iraq
With poor whites and Latinos
I pray to God that you hear this single
This is Banner’s middle finger yall

Hip Hop Quotables

HIP HOP POETRY
Greetings all.
Sean and I strive to bring our loyal subscribers the best in online entertainment. The two of us have racked our heads trying to come up new ways to keep you smiling. After two twelve packs, a bottle of patron and countless dead brain cells we’ve come up with the following. Every few weeks Sean and I will select a rap song with lyrics that are a bit out there. We understand that some listeners may not fully be able to absorb the knowledge and wisdom that is being pumped out of their speakers/headphones. To combat the rampant ADHD that is plaguing America we will write out said lyrics so that you can read them at your leisure. Our first entry is one of my personal favorites; E-40’s classic track "Rules & Regulations” Read how Mr. 40 deals with the lethal combination of being rich and having a chemical dependency.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

E40 - Track 10 - "Rules & Regulations” *Verse #3
Blow fired up from the tonto
Took a swig from my 40 but I forgot I had the cap still on
Looked to my left and ask honey for a light
She looked at me and said baby you aiight
I said I’m cool but isn’t this shit suppose to relax us
Fired up a Newport but I accidently lit it backwards
Something was tellin me that that hood hoe bitch was acting sneaky
Come to find out this bitch done laced my weed and slipped me a mickey

Now I’m feelin sweaty
Eyelids getting heavy
Stomach feelin queasy
All of sudden now I’m sleepy
Woke up naked slowly regaining my memory
Well where they find you
Around the corner from Applebee’s
Over there by Costco
Yeah, right there off the freeway
Right by Callahan Lane
Yeah right next door to Safeway
Strip me clean got me for some G’s
Set me up stole my car keys
I guess that the consequences when you sellin that diesel
Next time I said I’ll take my drink to the bathroom wit me!!!

Frank & Sean Episode 3 - We know current events... somewhat.

Talking trash as always, in this third installment we start off talking about Libya and then go off on tangents. Then we start talking about modeling and run out of things to talk about so we just started babbling. The music selection is a little crazy in this one... may offend some people, but that is what we are here for. Leave some feedback... let us know what you want to hear. Enjoy!

Frank & Sean Episode 2 - Get it while it's hot

We did this episode around the end of January... sorry it took so long to post but I had to do a lot of editing it was almost 2 hours long and an hour and half of that was just talk. There is a lot of comedy on the cutting room floor but it is what it is. I hope you enjoy.

Valedictorian Speaks Out Against Schooling in Graduation Speech -- Signs of the Times News

Valedictorian Speaks Out Against Schooling in Graduation Speech -- Signs of the Times News: "http://www.sott.net/articles/show/212383-Valedictorian-Speaks-Out-Against-Schooling-in-Graduation-Speech"

I have never been an advocate of the U.S. school system. Only because I felt that most of what we learn we will not use in adult life. My problem has never been school was too hard, my problem was... "when am I ever going to use this in real life?" Though I see the need to have a degree in order to be taken seriously in a career, I feel that the education system in certain parts of out wonderful country is lacking when it comes to really rounding out the children they are teaching.

This high school student really broke it down in her valedictorian speech and I hope the powers that be are listening.
